(Trying to move beyond what I am; I'll get there, age won't matter, I swear.)

Anyway, at least I can continue along my "artistic path" with the knowledge that I am able to copy photos in a semi-realistic fashion (?). ha. So there was a photo ref for the girl, no ref for the dragon hence it's cheesiness or somethingsomething.

and now a quote from a friend...
Ian: yeah, and they wear armored bikinis, like, "Oh, don't you dare shoot me in the boobs, because I'm totally protected there with +2 chain mail, anywhere else though, is up for penetration via bolts and arrows."

several actually drawing hours (7? 8?) over 4 day span, many breaks, AIM convos, pringles, my last starbucks for a week (*le cry*) because of the teeth whitening, which also occured during this piece's creation. Much thanks to critiques by friends and my mom between versions. <3!

[edit: how long does this hold your eye? what would make it more "interesting"?]

What would make it more interesting? THe pose itself is dynamic enough, so no work needed there. Perhaps more detail in the outfit - it's cool as it is but typically being a little more covered up intrigues me more, especially if it's got a lot of awesomecore detail.

And more dragon, pretty please?

I'm faving it all the same and you can't stop me. :D

(also, in response to the edit: The only thing I can think of is putting some more costume on the girl. No, I'm not saying OMG NUDE COVER HER UP!!11, I'm just wondering what some interesing sleeves/scarves/et cetera would do for her. Something you could add to her to make her more "yours".)

I stared at it for about 5 minutes with my mouth open. I would love to give you some constructive critisism but...wow...I got nuthin. This far surpases anything I could correct you about, that's for sure. Very nice. I think i'm gonna have to +fav....yep.
